Siya Pantshwa | Snr. pastor
Siya Pantshwa serves as the preaching and teaching pastor at Florida Baptist Church in Johannesburg, South Africa. Born in 1990 in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, Siya was converted in 2009. He completed a Pastor-In-Training program at Emmanuel Baptist Church and previously led a church plant in Ruimsig, Johannesburg. Siya is married to Nicole, and they have a son, Inaminkosi, while eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby girl.
Willie Anderson | Elder
Serves as the Church secretary while his wife Lymie is a gifted piano player in our worship team. They have served the body of Christ in Florida for over 60 years.
Archie Dirorimwe | Elder
Archie serves as an Elder at Florida Baptist. Born in 1973 in Nyanga, Zimbabwe, he came to faith at a young age. In 2005, Archie relocated to South Africa, where he now resides with his wife, Ermelle. Together, they have two daughters, Muema and Naphtalie.
Nkosinathi Nyathi | Deacon
My name is Nkosinathi Nyathi; I was born in 1992. Christ saved me in 2015. I have been in full-time ministry since 2016, serving with J-life Africa for 6 years, before moving to Onthatile Children’s Ministries in 2022 where my wife and I serve as foster parents in a children’s home. I am currently a seminary student with a desire to help plant and revitalize churches in townships. I serve as a deacon at Florida Baptist Church.
Gotz Guntenhoner | Deacon
He serves in the church office responsible for administration and organisational duties. He is married to Mariana.
Kevin Robertson | Deacon
Serves as the finance manager. He is married to Lorraine who serves women and mercy ministries.
Seth Galetuke | Deacon
Serves the church in IT and maintenance. He is married to Antonella and together they serve in the worship teams.
Jessie Johaar | Deacon
Serves in our youth and young adults ministries. He also leads worship and serve in all the Legal affairs and other policies of the Church.
